The Wyoming Board of Dental Examiners licenses Dentists, Dental Hygienists and Dental Assistants.  No person may practice as a Dentist or Dental Hygienist in the State of Wyoming without first obtaining a license from the Board.  No Dental Assistant may take and expose x-rays without first obtaining registration from the Board.

It is the responsibility of the applicant to review the Rules and Regulations to determine the appropriate application method.  The Board office will not communicate with any individual except for the applicant regarding the status of any application.

PLEASE NOTE: Per the rules and regulations, all licenses and permits, when issued, expire on December 31st of the year they are issued.  You will need to renew your license or permit on December 31st, regardless of the issue date.

RENEWAL APPLICATION FORMS
Licenses expire on December 31st of the year of issue. A license renewal notice is mailed to each licensed dentist and dental hygienist at their last address of record approximately sixty (60) days prior to December 31st. The renewal application must be post-marked by December 31st to be considered without a late fee.  When the renewal application is approved, the license is renewed for one (1) calendar year. The renewed licensee will will receive new pocket ID cards and a receipt for the renewal fee.

Please note all licenses must be renewed by December 31 of each year in order to continue to practice in the state. If your license is not renewed by December 31, YOU MAY NOT PRACTICE IN WYOMING.
